R700 short. R4,000 in cash trips.
You would have known on Tuesday.

Fleet Desk works on WhatsApp.
Every Monday 07:00 you get one line per car: paid, short, or nothing.
If a driver pays short, the reminder is already sent.
Before you give a driver your keys, you see what other owners say about this driver.

A short week, with Fleet Desk

This is the owner's phone. Musa did not pay his R1,800 on Monday. See what happens by Thursday.

Monday. You type one word per car. No app. No spreadsheet. 3 cars paid. 1 did not.
07:05. Musa gets a reminder. In writing. With the amount. You did not have to phone.
Tuesday 07:00. You get a message: what to check. Where did the car sleep? How many km, and how many trips? 10 km per trip is normal. More km means trips off the app.
You reply "flag". Musa gets a firm reminder, with a date. Musa knows you are watching this week.
Thursday. R1,800 paid. Done. If not paid, next Monday you meet the driver. Week 3, you take the car back while the tracker still shows it.
What this costs owners now. Six weeks of "I will pay Friday". Then a police case. At R1,800 a week, that is R10,800 gone before the car is gone.
Free: the short week sheet, on WhatsApp

What to do when a driver pays short. Week 1, week 2, week 3. One page.

We send the sheet on WhatsApp. Reply STOP any time.

What owners lost already

Three things owners wrote in the Facebook groups this month. No names. This happens every week.

"Short R700 again."

The driver did R4,000 in cash trips that week. The owner only saw it a month later. Lost: 4 short weeks, about R2,800.

"Car gone with the driver. Case opened."

The driver stopped paying. Said "Friday" every week. Then stopped answering. Lost: a R180,000 car.

"Bolt profile for rent, R300 a week."

A driver on a rented profile shows in no portal. The account is not yours. Lost: you only have the driver's word.

What costs you the most with your cars?

One line is enough. Leave your number and we reply on WhatsApp: how the desk helps with that.

Before a driver gets the keys

Send us the driver's number. We ask the driver to agree, and to send photos of ID, licence and PrDP. In about an hour, you get this:

Where the record comes from

Owners who had this driver before you. When the driver leaves, the desk writes it down: weeks paid in full, weeks short, weeks with nothing, deposit paid back, car returned, would hire again. The numbers come from the record. Nobody types them from memory.

Why you can trust it

Afrom the record  Bthe driver agreed  Cthe driver has not answered yet.
The driver sees the record and can say "this is wrong". Then it is marked "in dispute" and not counted. Big things, like a car not returned, need a police case number.

If a driver says no

You get a message. That is also an answer.

What you do each week

Pay day: one word per car.

"BK44GP paid". "BK44GP short 700". "BK44GP nothing". 30 seconds for 4 cars. Your money moves like it does now. Fleet Desk never touches it.

Monday 07:00: one message.

One line per car. Totals. Any licence, PrDP or disc that expires in the next 30 days.

Short week: one word again.

"ok", "flag", "meet", "recover". Each one sends the right message to the driver, and the next step to you. Nothing happens without your word.

What Fleet Desk is not

  • Not a tracker. It tells you which day to open your tracker, and what to look at.
  • Not a debt collector. Not a lawyer. Not a repo company. Nobody from Fleet Desk comes to the car.
  • Not the Bolt or Uber portal. The portal shows app earnings. Fleet Desk shows what the driver paid you, across all apps and cash, and the driver's record. No portal has that.

Prices

A lost car is R180,000. One short week is R700. Fleet Desk is about R35 a week per car.
First month free on the Owner plan. Price locked for 12 months for the first 50 fleets. Pay by card or Instant EFT with PayFast.

Questions owners ask

I have the Bolt fleet portal. Why do I need this? The portal shows app earnings. Only for drivers on your fleet account. Only for that one app. It does not know what the driver agreed to pay you. It does not see cash. It does not see a driver on a rented profile. Fleet Desk does.
Where does the driver's record come from? From owners who had this driver before you, on Fleet Desk. The driver sees the record and can say a fact is wrong. New drivers have a short record. It grows with every car.
Is this legal (POPIA)?Yes. The driver agrees on WhatsApp first. The driver can see the record any time (reply MY RECORD), can say a fact is wrong, and can leave. Only verified owners can write. Only numbers and dates are kept, never opinions. The ID number is stored as a code, never in full.
Does Fleet Desk touch my money? No. Drivers pay you like they do now. You type one word. Fleet Desk keeps the record and sends the messages.
What if the driver ignores the reminder? That is written down too. Tuesday you get the message: what to check. Every week still short moves one step: reminder, meeting, take the car back, police case. You decide each step with one word.
Why is the first month free? One short week caught pays for four months. See it on your own cars first.
